Autism-Psychosis Carers Project
This research project examines and explores the needs of family carers of people who have autism concurrent with psychosis. Specific and generic psychological interventions and digital resources aimed at supporting carers are being designed and evaluated. This is peer-conducted research, as one of the researchers is herself a family carer of an adult son with autism.
Autism-psychosis carers are being interviewed about their experiences of getting help for their loved ones and the impact that being a carer has had on them.
